Shows are: 1/10, 1/11, 1/17 & 1/18 at 7:30pm Click here to get a ticket Read a little about me here: https://laughingpigtheatre.wordpress.com/ I will be back on-stage next month in Laughing Pig Theatre's short play event Now What? on October 18 & 19, as well as in Always Plenty of Light At The Starlight All Night Diner early next year.
Now What? holds a special place in my heart because a dear friend of mine, Chuck Harp, wrote Between Blinking, the play I will be starring in. The Now What? play event is a series of short plays that explore the afterlife; Chuck's writing is beautiful. Now What? tickets Starlight Tickets I can't believe opening night is already here!
I am so incredibly proud of this cast and all of the hard work they've put into this show. I have learned A LOT from my first directing experience. I know it has made me a stronger performer, and I can't wait to direct again in the future. Fun fact - editing a trailer at 2am leads to poor grammar use. I invite you to check out my little teaser for PER here. I am so excited about this production!
We had our first read through last night. The cast is insanely talented. I am thrilled learn and grow as a performer by directing for the first time. Plus, the team I am surrounded with and the script of this play make my job very easy. Per runs Sept 20, 21, 27 and 28th. All shows are at 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased here. Description: A psychological drama based on a true story. Sweden 1889. A young man named Per Nilsson (pronounced PEAR) collaborated with his domineering mother in the gruesome murder of his young wife. Per was declared insane and institutionalized at The Konradsberg Lunatic Asylum in Stockholm, Sweden. His mother was found guilty of the murder and beheaded. Now he must fight the ghosts who torment him each night in his asylum cell, as he attempts by day to convince his captors, the psychiatrist and his staff, that he is sane and should be released. I am returning to Fountain Hills Theater as part of the Ensemble of Pippin! This is a show very near and dear to my heart, and I can not wait to sing the music live. As an added bonus, my friends Sydney and Brooke are in the show with me. (I met Sydney and Brooke at Fountain Hills when we were all in Cabaret together.)
Cast list is here. Pippin will run from April 19th - May 5, with a possible extension. Tickets can be purchased here. Laughing Pig has announced their 2019-2020 season and I'm thrilled to announce I will be directing PER.

So many updates!
I'm in my last weekend of Night of Shorts performances at the Brelby Theatre in Glendale. Laughing Pig Theatre kindly asked me to participate with them for this project after completing Shake Smash. Our performance of "By Sunrise" by Devon Mahon has received lots of positive reviews. And... I have joined Laughing Pig's first in-house improv team! It has been over a year since I have performed with Scared Scriptless LA, and I really missed improv. I'm excited to play with these new actors and get a good laugh in every week. The plan for the team is to perform monthly, just like Scared Scriptless LA did. I only wish Nick, Johnny, Victoria, Nate, and Mark could be here performing with me. I know they're with me in spirit :) New state, same Erin. Gonna keep doing the damn thing. |
